Jennur's Horde (Mission Help!)
And I thought Sebelkeh was tough.
Anyway I am having a rough time with this mission with my MM Necro (I Can go do other builds, but I like the bodyblockers). I've tried it about 5 times and all those times the same results happen: I get to the third Harbringer and kill him with one of those Light things. After the thing dies the spirit comes up, then the leftmost group gets attracted to them and in effect me, then after trying to defend it the "Spirit Killer" Patrol comes out and decides to join the party, effectively destroying any chance I had at surviving.
It was morning when I tried this so I had to henchway. I used Koss(W/mo), Zenmai (A/Mo), Master of Whispers (N/Mo but set as WoH healer), Mhenlo, Cynn, Aidan and Songolon[Motivaiton].
Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if this can actually be henched, I tried about seven times and gave up.
On the final occasion I cleared everything up to the main harbinger you have to kill to end the mission but he has constantly respawning mobs around him (the ones that run out to attack the spirits) but he takes multiple light things to kill him meaning you will have to leave the henchies to fend for themselves while you get another. I've read it can be done by echo shaddow form assassins grabing the light things and rushing the end guy but I can't do this on my warrior so I tried the other story path (much easier).
For the main to clear the area up the stairs allowing you to get the third and fourth harbingers you have to time it so that you only attack big mobs after you see a group rush out to get the spirits (and you've stood back and killed this mob). This allows you to avoid getting hit with two mobs at once, though you need to be quick at killing the mobs. To do that I went with 2 Ele heroes with firenukes, a MM hero and two healer hench plus some other stuff. I was a warrior. With this set up I could kill any of the groups on their own but I could't see how to push in to get to the main harbinger because of the respawning factor and the hench got wiped if I left them to fend for themselves while I got another orb.
Its probably doable with 2 or 3 real players and heroes/henchies but I don't think you could do it with just you, however I may be wrong.

I did it last night with heros and henchies, it was a rough one. The spawning mob always seems to hook eastward, so I cleared the right area at the top of the starts and ignored the left.
At the end, waited just beyond the Harbringer and charged in and dropped a light. "Oh noez he didn't die!" Then had to run back and grab another.

A nuker is a great help in this mission, even if it's a hero one. Meteor Shower was making a mess of the Margonites we only had to finish them off.

You can work your way slowly up and kill. It's not that hard to not aggro extra mobs. Also, you probably need a higher DPS party build.

Tried approximately 9 times with PUGS and henchies/heroes. Still no luck so I gave up and followed the other story path. It's much easier. I'll eventually go back and try to complete this mission but for now I just want to advance deeper into NF.

Took my 2 or 3 hours on saturday.
Progress slowly, kill the respawning group as fast as possible so you have some time for the others.
Kill a new group only if you killed the respawning one fast.
Lure the groups at the end to get them away from the harbinger.
Once they're away plant you'r NPCs in the walking path of the respawning group and let them defend it a while, until you get the 3-4 necessary lights back there.

Pulled it off this afternoon with a SS necro and Sin in tow with Koss, the centaur nuker and 2 Masters of Whispers (1 SS and 1 WoH). I just cockblocked the last Harbringer while the Sin ran lights, and the SS team took care of crowd control.

well i see im not the only one with problems completing this mission,
i only tryed once, on my paragon, with Koss,Dunkoro, and Sousuke, as hero, mehlo+the other healer,+cynn.I made it till the last boss but wen i set the flag so i could get the light balls, alot of monsters spawned and rushed to the other guy(the herbalist i think). so i failed...and i only had to hit him one more time with those light things . so far that is the most difficult mission i ever did in all 3 campaigns...

This mission is not too hard. The only iffy part is the end portion if you're solo - you need to set flags for you henchmen while you run back and get another light. As for me, I used a MM, SS, and Ele (more DPS.... MORE) ... :X

I came close to beating the Harbringer of Torment...until Koss went and arggoed the Margonites around him...This was without a DPS Hero set up, I should give that a try.

Wha? You can have trouble with that mission?
Anyways, I essentially split my team 4-4 and pounded the groups at the side. Whenever a group spawned in the middle, both teams converged and wiped that as well as any trains from the side groups. Split again, continue as above until the bonus harbingers are down.
From there I had the 7 others pull and kill groups while I ran lights until there was enough to drop the Harbinger of Torment. Then just aggro and nuke him.
